2008-2009 Program of the Year Award

The Peer Educator in Residence for Technology (PERT) students were honored with Northwest Missouri State University Residence Hall Association's prestigious Program of the Year Award for 2008-2009.

The PERTS received the award for their annual WII Play Xbox event, which included refreshments and door prizes.

The annual event allows student gamers the chance to interact with each other and Northwest computing staff in a positive and fun fashion while learning about important Northwest computing policies.

Games at the event included Halo 3, Left 4 Dead, Rock Band 2, Call of Duty 4, Call of Duty: World at War, Smash Brothers Brawl, Wii Sports, Mario Kart and Guitar Hero 3. Turn-out for the Spring 2009 event was over 200.
