The Client Computing student Computer Lab Consultant team has been nominated for Outstanding Team 2006. The team traveling trophy award will be given out during Northwest's annual Student Employment Recognition Awards Ceremony, which is scheduled to be held in the J.W. Jones Student Union Ballroom at 3 p.m. Monday, April 10, 2006.

According to Owens Library Librarian/Instructor, Connie Ury, the CC Computer Lab Consultants are “always willing to help” and demonstrate “great enthusiasm for assisting others with the computing lab software and hardware.”

Likewise, Sarah Park, Owens Library Reference Librarian, agreed that the CC Computer Lab Consultants are “always very friendly and always very eager to help those in need.”

The Outstanding Team is just one of the many awards that will be given out during the ceremony. The ceremony is hosted by the Office of Human Resources Management to celebrate National Student Employment Week April 10-14, which is held to recognize all university student workers for their contributions and dedication to their respective institutions.

Along with Outstanding Team and Supervisor of the Year, the Northwest Student Employee of the Year will be announced. In 2005, Client Computing student Computer Lab Consultant, Victor Chininin Buele, was honored as Student Employee of the Year for both Northwest and the State of Missouri.
