The notebook computer rental program will allow a student who lives off campus to have access to standardized university software at home to complete their academic tasks. More importantly, campus computer support for both hardware and software on that rented notebook computer is essentially free-of-charge.

Northwest's notebook computer rental program is available to students who live off campus beginning Fall 2005.
The cost of renting a university notebook computer is $150.00 per trimester, which is a total of $300 for the full fall/spring academic year.
Notebook computer rental is on a first-come, first-serve basis due to the limited availability of notebook computers.

Students who participate in the Northwest notebook rental program are strongly encouraged to obtain appropriate insurance coverage to protect their Northwest-rented notebook computers in case of damage, loss or theft.
