Northwest has been a leader
in providing its students high-access to computer technology
since 1987. We are supplying our students faster, more powerful
computing and networking than ever before. In fact, the
state of Missouri has recently designated the Northwest
campus as the center for development of new applications
of information technology to learning.
The Information Systems Newsletter is an online publication produced by the Information Systems's Client Computing staff. The online newsletter, which can be viewed year round, is updated on a monthly basis (summer hiatus). It is also electronically issued to subscribers twice a year (once in the Fall Trimester and once in the Spring Trimester), with a summary of news items and a hotlink to the online newsletter, where subscribers can obtain more detailed information about those news items.
Information Systems, which includes Client Computing, Data Processing, Network & Server Services, Programming and Telecommunications, is under the direction of Dr. Jon Rickman.
OBJECTIVES
The Information Systems Newsletter is designed to disseminate information about important campus-wide computing changes or new technology services and resources. Additionally, the newsletter contains all noteworthy news about the staff and departments within Information Systems.
