Alyoop, Inc. is offering the first new service, patent pending, in the area of manufacturers' coupon distribution since the invention of the newspaper. For the first time, shoppers will not have to search for coupons; matching coupons will be delivered to their personal shopping list immediately prior to a shopping event. Shoppers will be able to store an unlimited number of shopping lists that correspond to their weekly shopping trips, special events or holidays and be able to take advantage of the best coupons offered in the area that matches their zip code. Manufacturers will be able to target their offers to specific zip codes that can maximize their marketing budgets. For the first time, manufacturers will be able to make adjustments to their offers on a real time basis and eliminate the high costs of printing and distribution of traditional coupon programs.

Carbolytic Materials Company

Carbolytic Materials Company (CMC) executives have announced that the St. Louis-based company intends to build a new factory in Maryville.

The plant, which is to employ between 20 and 30 people, will be used for the manufacture of CMC's proprietary ApexCM™ carbon black replacement material, which is produced from shredded automotive tires and has a wide range of applications in the rubber and plastics industry.
