The XRD is a rapid analytical nondestructive technique/method primarily used for phase characterization of crystalline materials. The technique has been used for phase identification, quantitative analysis and determination of structure imperfection, crystal structures. Various kinds of micro- and nano-crystalline materials such as inorganics, organics, drugs, minerals, catalysts, zeolites, metals, ceramics etc. have been characterized by XRD technique.
