Thermogravimetric analyzer (TGA)

TGA is used primarily for measuring thermal stability of different materials in all phases of research, quality control and production operations. This high performance TGA is capable of reproducibly measuring such small weight loss events, which are on the order of 1% or less. It determines weight loss as total moisture, ash, volatile content, or loss-on-ignition in various organic, inorganic, polymers, foods, coals, catalysts, tires, and synthetic samples after switching from an inert gas atmosphere to air over the period of time or temperature.
