Inductively Coupled Plasma-Optical Emission Spectrometry ( ICP – OES)

ICP-OES is an efficient analytical process for simultaneous determination of trace elements as pollutants in environmentally relevant matrices. With establishment of EPA method 200 series and international organization for standardization (ISO 11885) the application of this technique has been selected as the standard method of analysis for water, wastewater and sludge. This method can also be used to monitor toxic elements from influent, effluents or sludges, leachates and even air particulates.
