An information session is a presentation hosted by an employer that provides a chance to learn about their organization. Often, alumni recruiters (former Bearcats) return to campus to represent their companies. Either way, an information session is set in a friendly, casual atmosphere where you can get to know the recruiter(s) and network, network, network!
Refreshments are usually provided by the employer. Unless otherwise instructed by the employer, Career Services recommends the following attire: casual slacks (khakis or similar) and shirt or sweater. After all, first impressions count!
Interviewing with one of the companies? Attending their information session will assist you with your research for the interview and give you a chance to get to know the company representative in a relaxed setting prior to the formal interview. It is a definite must do!
We would be delighted to have your company host an Information Session! Please complete our On-Campus Recruiting Form.
