Individual appointments with career counselors can include assistance with interpretation of your DISCOVER results, "major" decision or change in "major", exploring career options for your major, or job search assistance. When you come by the office to make an appointment, you will be asked to fill out an Appointment Information Sheet. That sheet asks a few brief questions and is used by your counselor to prepare for your upcoming appointment.

Career Services has a wealth of career related materials to explore! Their resource library at AD130 houses video tapes, as well as a wide variety of books, periodicals, and magazines. You can research many potential majors and career paths, as well as look at materials on resumes, cover letters, and interviewing. One section of the library is devoted solely to internship resources. From national average starting salary information by major to the employment rates of Northwest graduates, you will find a wealth of information in the Career Services resource library.
