Many students have had their employment or internship plans canceled or changed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Career Services would like to help you in any way we can during this difficult time. Here are some resources that might be helpful:

When doing an online job/internship search make sure to use multiple sites to get the best results. Always make sure to look at the age of the post and read the entire job/internship description to make sure you know all the requirements and expectations.
Many local grocery and warehouse stores, delivery services (Doordash, Uber Eats, etc.), retail chains and telecomm and support companies are likely hiring lots of part-time temporary employees during this outbreak. If you are looking for short-term employment to help you pay bills these may be good options to investigate.

Networking and Social Media information – Now is a perfect time to build and develop your social media networks.
Interviewing information – Phone and video interviews will become the norm for a while and the more practice you have with these formats the better! Many of the same tips for traditional interviews still apply to phone and video interviews.
Big Interview – This is a free video interview preparation tool you can use to develop your video interviewing skills. Log in with your regular Northwest network credentials.
List of Northwest school/department and office contacts – If you have questions or need other assistance during this time (Financial Aid, Wellness Services, etc.) many offices are still able to help you. This is a list of how to contact them.
