The Homecoming Parade
This year high school bands from the four state area are invited to participate in the Northwest Homecoming Parade. Each band will be given a line-up order (first-come, first-served by class), and be escorted by university personnel through the parade route. The Homecoming Parade Competition
High school bands from the four state area are invited to compete in the Northwest Homecoming Parade. Each band will be given a line-up order (first-come, first-served by class), and be escorted by university personnel through the parade route. Bands will be judged on step, music, and alignment. Awards and ratings will be presented at 10:30 a.m. in Bearcat Arena. Please check the parade route, links, and information regarding this event.
Marching Honor Band
All band directors are encouraged to nominate up to 5 of their best students for the Annual Northwest Marching Honor Band. Students will march the parade (either with their high school band, or with the Bearcat Marching Band) and then enter the game with the BMB for a rousing performance in the stands AND an appearance at halftime with the BMB! Space is limited, so please apply as soon as possible!
