Russian Olive, Elaeagnus angustifolia
Central Asia. Willow-like I to 3-inch leaves with green tops and silvery undersides. Weak wooded. Grows to 20 feet. Diseases have been a problem and for this reason the highway departments have stopped using them along highways.
