Golden Weeping Willow

Salix alba 'Tristis'

China. Leaves alternate and simple, 3-6 inches long. Slender, pendulous branches that may hang to the ground. Can grow to 50 feet. May become messy with age. Willows, like poplars, are affected by numerous diseases and insects. Good for moist, wet places where little else will grow.
