Northwest: Home to the

Europe. The needles are stiff, twisted, I to 3 inches long, and in bundles of two. Cones are 2 to 5 inches long and have flat-topped scales tipped with a prickle. The bark is scaly and orange-red on upper branches of older trees. Height to 60 feet. It is a timbertree that is widely planted in North America. One of the most popular pines for Christmas tree use.
