Redbud and Whitebud GroveName: Cercis canadensis (Redbud) We need five redbud trees and five whitebud trees to be planted in a grove replacing several redbud trees which were lost along the Fourth Street entrance of this building. |

English Oak GroveName: Quercus robur (English Oak) We need seven English Oak trees to surround the Bell of ’48 benches and landscaping. The cultivar we chose is narrow crowned and will make this area stand out. Oaks and ashes were lost near this area. |

Yoshino Cherry GroveName: Prunus x yedoensis (Yoshino Cherry) We need five Yoshino Cherry trees to add spring beauty to the area just west of the Administration building. These are the cherry trees that are so notable at our nation’s capital. Large trees were lost in this area, but ornamental trees are needed to replace them. Ginkgo GroveName: Ginkgo biloba (Maidenhair) A grove of seven Ginkgo trees will add shade and enhance the Hudson-Perrin Landscape and the main entrance to campus. White Fringetree GrovesName: Chionanthus virginicus (White Fringetree) We need twelve White Fringetrees to add beauty and interest to the Hudson Perrin Landscape. The ginkgo grove adds shade, while the fringetrees add beautiful flowers and year-round interest. |

Foster's Grove of Flowering CrabapplesName: Malus sp (Flowering Crabapple) We need nine flowering crabapples to continue the tradition of spring flowers and year-round beauty in this area. Many years ago, Dr. Robert Foster planted flowering crabapples here to honor his mother. More than one cultivar will be planted. |

Hawthorn AleeName: Craetegus sp (Hawthorn) Only one tree remains standing in a row of ten hawthorn trees and one redbud tree which used to grace the south entrance road to Colden Hall. We need ten hawthorns to replace this beautiful lee. |

Hackberry GroveName: Celtis occidentalis (Hackberry) We need a grove of five hackberries to grace Garrett-Strong area. Where better to plant this native species than near the center of science education on campus? |

Zelkova AleeName: Zelkova serrata (Japanese Zelkova) We need nine Zelkova trees, with their arching canopies, to restore shade to the Long Walk between the main entrance to campus and the Administration Building. |

Shady Oak GroveName: Red, White, Swamp White and Black Oaks We need fifteen various oak trees to bring shade back to the Brown Hall area and to enhance the empty lawns in front of South Complex. |

Lacebark ElmName: Ulmus parvifolia (Lacebark Elm) We need three lacebark elms for their beautiful bark and branching pattern, but haven’t chosen the right location for them yet. |

Littleleaf LindenName: Tilia cordata (Littleleaf Linden) In addition, one Littleleaf Linden will replace one lost earlier this year. |
