Members of the Mid-Missouri Chapter enjoyed a happy hour in March at Southside Pizza and Pub in Columbia. In April, the chapter cheered the Missouri Tigers to victory during the MU vs. Auburn baseball game. There was plenty of sunshine and visiting as well as young future Bearcats playing together. Chapter members also enjoyed a social in May at Prison Brews in Jefferson City as well as the chapter’s annual event in July at D. Rowe’s in Columbia. Members of the Mid-Missouri Chapter celebrated another successful year during its anniversary party. Events this year have been held in conjunction with Bearcat athletic teams visiting universities in central Missouri for competition, and future events will be held this fall when the Northwest football team competes in Jefferson City. Members of the Mid-Missouri Chapter came together to tailgate and watch the Missouri Tiger football team shut out the Colorado Buffaloes in October. A chapter event in September at the local Buffalo Wild Wings helped add to the chapter's growing scholarship fund, and the chapter's annual food drive at Truman's Bar and Grill in December was another success. Chapter members also will host a bowling night to recruit new members. Members of the Mid-Missouri Chapter enjoyed an evening of basketball at Mizzou Arena watching the Missouri Tigers defeat the Iowa State Cyclones in February. Chapter members also attended the annual networking night and happy hour social in March. In June, the chapter celebrated its third anniversary with a social at D Rowe's in Columbia. The chapter is busy planning upcoming events, including a MU football game and the chapter's annual food drive for the Central Missouri Food Bank.
In October, the Mid-Missouri Chapter hosted Northwest Day at Shyrock's Callaway Farms, known for its life-size corn maze, group hayrides, campfires and pick-your-own pumpkin patch. In November, the chapter joined Northwest basketball fans from across the state for a pre-game social before watching the Northwest Bearcats take on the Missouri Tigers in an exhibition game in Columbia. The chapter also hosted a tailgate party before the Mizzou and Iowa State football game and sponsored a watch party for the Bearcats' national championship game. In their continued efforts to support the Central Missouri Food Bank, the chapter held its annual canned food drive in December. The chapter's third anniversary party is being planned for June.
The Mid-Missouri Bearcats participated in several events this summer and fall, including a barbecue at the Hog House, a facility in Montgomery City owned by Dave Teeter '86, and a tailgate at a University of Missouri game in Columbia. The group's winter activities included a corn maze, hay ride and camp fire, a holiday canned food drive and a basketball game at Mizzou.

The Mid-Missouri Chapter celebrated its first anniversary April 10 at D. Rowe's in Columbia with 30 alumni and friends in attendance. Other summer events included a happy hour at Truman's in Columbia in May; a barbecue in June at The Hog House, a venue in Montgomery City owned by Dave Teeter '86; and a Twilight Festival happy hour in Columbia in June. On Aug. 2, the chapter organized a Northwest Student Send-off Barbecue, and chapter members will be attending a Mizzou football tailgate Sept. 13. The Mid-Missouri Chapter ended 2007 with a national championship watch party Dec. 15 at Truman's Bar in Columbia, and in January the chapter members cheered on the University of Missouri Tigers at a basketball game.
