Chapter Updates

Fall 2011

Members of the Mid-Missouri Chapter celebrated another successful year during its anniversary party. Events this year have been held in conjunction with Bearcat athletic teams visiting universities in central Missouri for competition, and future events will be held this fall when the Northwest football team competes in Jefferson City. The chapter continues to welcome new members and seek ideas for events. For event listings, visit the Mid-Missouri Bearcats on Facebook or contact President Mark Partise '02 at mjpartise@yahoo.com.

Spring 2011

Members of the Mid-Missouri Chapter came together to tailgate and watch the Missouri Tiger football team shut out the Colorado Buffaloes in October. A chapter event in September at the local Buffalo Wild Wings helped add to the chapter's growing scholarship fund, and the chapter's annual food drive at Truman's Bar and Grill in December was another success. Chapter members also will host a bowling night to recruit new members. For up-to-date event listings, visit the Mid-Missouri Bearcats on Facebook or contact President Steve Yaple '04 at bearcatbiz@hotmail.com.

Fall 2010

Members of the Mid-Missouri Chapter enjoyed an evening of basketball at Mizzou Arena watching the Missouri Tigers defeat the Iowa State Cyclones in February. Chapter members also attended the annual networking night and happy hour social in March. In June, the chapter celebrated its third anniversary with a social at D Rowe's in Columbia. The chapter is busy planning upcoming events, including a MU football game and the chapter's annual food drive for the Central Missouri Food Bank.

The chapter also hosted a tailgate party before the Mizzou and Iowa State football game and sponsored a watch party for the Bearcats' national championship game. In their continued efforts to support the Central Missouri Food Bank, the chapter held its annual canned food drive in December. The chapter's third anniversary party is being planned for June.
