Summer 2007 (from the Northwest Alumni Magazine)
Nearly 40 members of the Arizona Alumni Chapter attended the Arizona Cardinals vs. Kansas City Chiefs football game, and about 25 people attended the pregame party at Fox and the Hound Smokehouse and Sports Bar. Members of the Arizona Alumni and Friends Chapter attended a spring training baseball game between the Kansas City Royals and the Arizona Diamondbacks. Despite the cold, with snow in the higher elevations, the group "weathered" the day for a great outing. The golf outing was cancelled after the streak of 141 consecutive days of no rain was broken! This fall, the chapter is planning a tailgate before and after the Kansas City Chiefs/Arizona Cardinals football game in Arizona on Sunday, Oct. 8. Details will be available soon, and all alumni and friends are invited to attend. The Arizona Alumni Chapter sponsored watch parties in Peoria, Ariz., and Mesa, Ariz., for the semifinal and championship football games. For events like this, the chapter sends announcements via e-mail. If you didn't receive information about the watch parties and would like to receive announcements about similar chapter events in the future, please send your e-mail address to alumni@nwmissouri.edu.

The Northwest Missouri State University Alumni Association is establishing alumni chapters worldwide. Organized by alumni volunteers and supported by the Office of Alumni Relations, these chapters sponsor a variety of activities for alumni to get together socially and stay abreast of news from Northwest Missouri State University.
