The one word you often hear from friends and alumni of Northwest is "family." The Ottes have taken that to a different level. At least 13 members of the Otte family have attended or graduated from Northwest. Needless to say, the University wouldn't be where it is today without the commitment of families like the Ottes.
Jack and Gilda Otte are a fixture in the Maryville community and on the Northwest campus. It seems there has always been an Otte on campus since the late 1940s when Jack attended Northwest after serving his country during World War II. Today, as members of The Centennial Society, they attend virtually every sporting event and performance series and are tremendous supporters of the Bearcats.
The University's future is bright thanks to the commitment and devotion from alumni and friends like Jack and Gilda Otte!
