"Giving back to Northwest means a lot to me. It is a special place, and I know that I am helping both current and future students succeed."
Raised in Clearmont and a 1949 graduate of Northwest, Betty Lou, or Lou as she's known by her college friends, stays active in her retirement. She volunteers at her church in Gladstone and also helps out with the Meals on Wheels program. She was a member of the Drama Club while at Northwest and still participates in community theater groups and attends many stage productions. Betty Lou is one of the original members of the James H. Lemon Society through her gift annuity.
