Bob Machovsky joined the Office of University Advancement team in July 2012 as the manager of annual giving. In 2014, Machovsky added to his duties and became the director of alumni relations and annual gifts. Bob is responsible for leading the alumni association activities coupled with overseeing Northwest Student Call Center in addition to mail and e-mail solicitations.
Bringing more than 10 years of annual giving and program development experience to Northwest, Bob worked at Missouri University of Science and Technology (S&T) where he increased the dollars raised, average gift and implemented a family giving program. Prior to S&T, Bob worked for his alma mater at the University of South Dakota as the assistant director of annual giving. His team of fundraisers had record breaking years for the annual giving program and increased giving and participation with the student philanthropy giving program.
A native of South Dakota, Bob graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Alcohol and Drug Studies from the University of South Dakota. In 2015, Bob graduated from Northwest Missouri State University with his Master’s degree in Higher Education Leadership. Bob is married to Katie who he met while in college. He enjoys watching football, spending time with family and friends, and of course cheering on his Bearcats to victory!
