3:00 PM Writing Challenge (for students placed in 10-110 Intro to Writing, but want to challenge their placement). Colden Hall 1150

9:30 AM - Noon General Registration for transfer or returning students not yet registered Administration Building
10 AM - 1 PM & 2 PM - 5 PM Technology/Computing Policies Training (50 minute sessions) Garrett-Strong
10 AM - 12 PM Merchant Fair Bell Tower (Rain location Ballroom)
10 AM - 5 PM Math Testing (for students enrolled in 090 Math Skills-takes 20-90 minutes. Go at your own convenience and bring your laptop) McKemy Center
11 AM - 1 PM Lunch at the Union Student Union Bearcat Food Court (open 11-7)
11-2, 3-5 PM Hard Core Safety (50 minute sessions) Student Union Ballroom
1 - 2 PM Transfer Orientation (for students who didn’t attend Transfer Pre-registration) Student Union Boardroom
2 PM Transfer Student Meeting (information for all interested transfer students about advising, getting involved, and more. Come get a free planner, prizes, and lunch) Student Union Boardroom
7:30 PM - 9 PM Dr. Joe Martin Bearcat Arena
  attend with RA and hall mates  
9 PM - Midnight Casino Night sponsored by RHA J.W. Jones Student Union Ballroom
Midnight Free Movies at the Hangar Movie Theatre The Hangar, Main Street
  Safe ride will provide rides to Hangar from 11-midnight and from 1:30-2:30 back to the residence halls  
  Pick up will be in Lot 10 behind Hudson/Perrin common area and Lot 39 by The Station  

Sunday, August 24

  attend with PA, Freshman Seminar Instructor, and Class  
6 - 8 PM Open House Student Religious Houses
