A magnetic stripe on the back of your student ID card works with our computer system to identify you as a meal plan member. Students with Resident Plans have a semester allotment of money and it works on a declining balance principle. Each time you purchase an item the cost is deducted from your total. If your card is ever lost or stolen be sure to let the ID office know as soon as possible.
Declining balance plans work on the same principle as a bank debit card. Each time you make a food purchase at one of our locations, the total cost of your meal is subtracted from the dollar balance on your account. As your balance runs low, simply add more money. It is as simple as that.
Inclining balance plans are an option for our commuter customers, gives you the ultimate in freedom. It's automatically on your card. Your ID card becomes a credit card that you can use for food purchases. Twice a month on the 1st and the 15th, your total charges are billed to your University account. Use as much or as little as you want.
Campus Dining is also proud of its continuing partnership with the local Domino's and Pizza Hut. Your meal plan dollars can be used to order food for delivery.
**Only 10% of the total meal plan amount can be used for off campus pizza purchases. You can add more money to the plan for this use if you wish. This applies to on campus meal plan only. For more information contact Auxiliary Services at firstname.lastname@example.org or 660.562.1430**
Students requiring special diets should contact the dietician (660.562.1252) to make arrangements. It has been found that most special needs can be met after appropriate consultation. Weight loss programs and commercial diets (i.e., Weight Watchers) are not reasons to cancel a meal plan. Please consult with the dietician about weight loss programs.
Campus dining has been working over the summer to provide our customers with additional shut off features in the case of a lost or stolen ID card. You now have two options to report your card as lost or stolen. You can contact the Auxillary Services office at 660.562.1430 or you can complete the "Lost/Stolen" card form on our website.
