Meal Plans

How do they work?

Meal plans are geared specifically to make your life easier. Depending on whether you live on or off campus and which meal plan you choose, your meal plan can consist of unlimited swipes, a set number of swipes, Dinin Dollars and an inclining balance.

What are my meal plan choices?

Our meal plans provide you with many options. Select a plan that fits your status (resident or commuter) and your lifestyle.

Resident Plans

Choose from four all-access plans with varying levels of spending power. Each plan is made up of unlimited swipes at Bearcat Commons.

Apartment/Commuter Plans

Forest Village Apartments residents and commuter students can choose to purchase an all access residential plan (above), a block plan or use an inclining balance plan. All registered, commuter students are automatically able to use inclining balance to charge their food purchases to their University account.

Resident/Dining Dollars

Resident Dollars, for on-campus students may be used at any campus retail location, including Starbucks, Chick-fil-A, Einstein Bros., Zen Asian, Papa John’s, including on-campus delivery, as well as vending machines, concession stands, Northwest tailgaes, plus our Provisions on Demand (P.O.D.) convenience stores. Dining Dollars for commuing students may be used at the same locations as Resident Dollars as well as for delivery from Domino's and Pizza Hut.

If you run out of Resident/Dining Dollars you can add more in increments of $25.00. Resident/Dining Dollars will roll-over as long as you are a student at Northwest Missouri State University.

Guest Meal Pass

A guest meal pass can be used by a friend or family member and it gives them a one time access to the Bearcat Commons.
