Available College Prep Programs

The value of higher education has never been greater. The office of Admissions and Early Outreach Professionals at Northwest Missouri State University would like to offer your school our free COLLEGE PLANNING PRESENTATIONS! These presentations will provide your students with the following tips:

• Discovering why you should go to college
• Factors to consider when making your college decision
• Steps to take now so you are prepared for college
• Preparing for the ACT (Early Outreach Presentation)
• Helpful hints and tips for your college applications
• Preparing for the cost of your college education

These free presentations will assist students in preparing for college by taking the right steps in high school, and are designed to assist schools in meeting state requirements for student career/college planning. The 40-60 minute workshop will be offered at your school during the school day at a convenient time for you and your students.

The Early Outreach Program is geared for 8th or 9th graders and focuses on what steps students should take during their high school years to make college possible and affordable.
