Program Administration

The organization of the Honors Program is shown by the organizational chart View PDF. The Honors Program will be overseen by a Director who reports to the Dean of Arts and Sciences. Although, a faculty member from each department will be designated as an Honors Student Advisor for that department, undeclared majors will be advised by the Honors Program Director.

Faculty teaching in the Honors Program will be approved by his/her department chair, the Academic Dean of their respective college, and the Honors Program Director. Honors Faculty must be full-time faculty with the minimum rank of Instructor.

The Director of the Honors Program will conduct annual reviews, as well as a quadrennial review, using a process similar to that for academic programs. The Seven-Step Quality Planning Process will be used for continual evaluation and continual improvement of the program.
