Dr. Ted Goudge

Dr. Ted Goudge, associate professor of geography, recently served as a reader for the College Board (www.collegeboard.com) AP Examinations in Human Geography.

Each year the College Board AP program provides more than a million high school students with the opportunity to take rigorous, college-level courses and examinations, which can lead to credit or advanced placement when they enter college.

This year, the program encompassed approximately 2.8 million examinations in 22 disciplines evaluated by about 10,000 readers from universities and high schools in the United States, Canada and elsewhere.

“The reading draws upon the talents of some of the finest teachers and professors that the world has to offer,” said Trevor Packer, College Board AP executive director. “We are very grateful for the contributions of talented educators like Ted Goudge.”
