Dr. Virgil Freeman
Dr. Virgil Freeman, assistant professor of educational leadership, recently served as the graduation speaker during commencement exercises at Clarinda (Iowa) Academy. His speech was titled, “The Way to a Successful Life.”
Freeman also made two academic presentations this spring at the National Association of Elementary School Principals in Nashville: “Developing Trust and Team Building Skills in School Leaders” and “Traits of Effective Principals -- Perceptions of Missouri Teachers.” His co-presenters for “Traits of Effective Principals” were Dr. Mick Arnold and Dr. Robert Perry of Southwest Baptist University.
