Residential Counselor

LaNee started at Northwest Missouri State University as a Resident Counselor for the Missouri Academy during the summer of 2016. Before that, she attended the University of Illinois Springfield where she graduated with her Bachelors in Criminal Justice. During her undergrad, she was a Resident Assistant for two years. It was at the University of Illinois where she discovered her love for doing service. She was a member of the Leadership for Life service organization and Habitat for Humanity throughout her duration at the University of Illinois. In addition, she was a Big Sister for the local Big Brothers, Big Sisters organization in Springfield, IL.

LaNee is a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated. She, along with her 8 line sisters, chartered Alpha Phi at the University of Illinois. She enjoys working with youth and is excited about working with the students at the Missouri Academy. She is not sure exactly where life will take her, but she does know that wherever she goes, she will be helping people.

LaNee enjoys watching reality television, listening to new music, cooking/baking and traveling.
