Grade Levels Previously Taught

Eight years previous to joining the Leet Center I worked as an Early Childhood and Elementary Special Education Teacher. Before that I was a speech implementer, and before that I taught regular education.

Interests and Activities

I love spending time with my family! I also enjoy being outside, cooking, and doing crafts.

Favorite Thing About Teaching

My favorite thing about teaching is being able to be a part in the children's lives.  I love it when they have an "I got it" moment and that I get to celebrate that with them.

Goals for the Year

My goal, every year, is to build positive relationships with my children, my families, my student workers, and my fellow teachers.  I want to be sure that all are an important part of our school family and welcome within our classroom.

Professional Experience

I have presented both nationally and internationally through the Conference of the Young Years, NAEYC, and the International Lab School Conference.  I have also traveled to Italy to study at Reggio Emilia through Northwest’s study abroad program.
