A Little Bit About Kelsey

Hello Everyone! My name is Kelsey Fish. I am the graduate assistant in Mrs. Sheil’s classroom. I am so excited to be back! I spent the four years of my undergrad as a teaching assistant at the Center, and then left for my first year of teaching with my BS in Secondary Biology Education. Last year I was a High School Science Educator at Stockton High School. I taught Biology and Human Anatomy and Physiology. Upon hearing of an opening at the center, I was overjoyed to fill the position.

For those of you that don’t know me, I would like to tell you a little bit about me. I am the baby of 5 children and the daughter of a wonderful mom and dad. Along with that, I am not an Aunt to 11 and the Aunt life is wonderful! I am originally from Stockton, MO, a small town about 4 hours South of Maryville. There I lived on a small farm which is where my interest in science and nature really came to life. I spent (and still spend) my summers on the lake there sailing and kayaking! I love to laugh, smile, and spend my day helping students reach their full potential!!
