COMPUTER SCIENCE ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT SCHOLARSHIP
Rising junior or senior computer science major that has made significant contributions to ACM, computer science or the computer science/information systems department. Scholarship will also be considered.

COMPUTER SCIENCE OLYMPIAD SCHOLARSHIP
Awarded to a first-year student who is a declared computer science, interactive digital media-computer science programming, or management information systems major who participates in the Computer Science Olympiad. This scholarship is renewable with the previous declared majors, a 3.00 Northwest GPA, and completion of 24 credit hours per academic year. Must submit an official high school transcript and two recommendations covering academics, citizenship, leadership, and record of extracurricular activities.
Award: Maximum award of $1,150 ($575 per year for two-year period)

JANET S. GAYLOR MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
The Janet S. Gaylor Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a female freshman or sophomore majoring in computer science.

CERNER CORPORATION SCHOLARSHIP
The Cerner Corporation awards a scholarship to a junior or senior majoring in computer science, management information systems, or interactive digital media-computer science programming with a 3.0 GPA.
Application must be requested through the Department of Computer Science/Information Systems, Colden Hall 2290, 660-562-1600.

MONICA G. ZIRFAS SCHOLARSHIP
Awarded to a student enrolled in the Two-Year Office Systems program. Students of good moral character, with excellenct academic standing, having at least a 2.5 GPA, who show potential for excellence in the area of administrative support, and who have completed a minimum of one semester at Northwest shall be considered for this scholarship. All other factors being equal, financial need may be the determining factor in the selection process.
Monica Zirfas served for many years as Administrative Assistant to the president of the university and as Secretary to the Board of Regents.
