These scholarships are funded by our Northwest Foundation or private donors. They are not specific to any particular major, but may be limited by academic, geographic or grade level criteria. CLAUDINE BREWER MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

Given to graduates of North Andrew High School, Rosendale, Mo., with 2.00 GPA. First preference given to education majors. Contact North Andrew High School counselor for application.

EVERETT BROWN FRESHMAN SCHOLARSHIP

Son or daughter of teacher or administrator from Northwest District MSTA. Rank in upper third of class. Contact College of Education and Human Services 660.562.1231.

CLEAR, CAYHOGA, MUDDY CREEKS SCHOLARSHIP

Eligible recipients of the Clear, Cayhoga, Muddy Creeks Scholarship must be Missouri residents currently residing in the district previously known and designated as the Clear, Cayhoga, Muddy Creeks Watershed District. This former watershed district includes a large portion of the West Nodaway R-l School District and small portions of the Maryville R-ll and North Nodaway R-Vl School Districts. Eligible recipients shall be Northwest freshman or sophomores, freshman minimum 2.0 cumulative high school GPA, and sophomores minimum 2.5 Northwest cumulative GPA. Eligible recipients shall have demonstrated good school and community citizenship, and all other factors being equal, financial need may be the determining factor in the selection of recipients.

PAT DANNER SCHOLARSHIP

Available to all majors enrolled in at least nine credit hours per trimester showing progress toward completion of degree requirements. Preference for this Award will be given to a "displaced homemakers" with a second preference given to a similarly worthy student who is overcoming barriers to obtain their college degree. DENNIS DAU SCHOLARSHIP

Available to graduates of Maryville High School in Maryville, Mo., accepted as entering freshman. Must have minimum GPA of 2.50 and show exemplary citizenship and dedication to the band program, participating in instrumental performance groups in high school and shall be involved in instrumental performance at Northwest. Given to a graduating senior from Bedford Community High School in Bedford, Iowa. Recipients shall be children or spouses of any Northwest support staff employee who is employed on the day of the trimester general registration in which the scholarship is Awarded.
