Meet the Faculty
Dr. William Waters
Ph.D. English, University of New Mexico
Dr. William Waters's publications include the edited books La Puerta and La Puerta: A Doorway into the Academy, and articles and reviews in The Proceedings of the Seventh Annual Southwest Symposium and Journal of English Language and Literature. He serves as a member of the Governing Board of the Missouri Colloquium on Writing Assessment, as well as Writing Program Administrators, CCCC, NCTE, and Scholars Retreat: Dissertation and academic article writing workshops. His research and teaching interests include Rhetoric, Composition Theory and Practice, Developmental Writing, Linguistics, Grammar, particularly syntax, and History of English.
