M.F.A. Creative Writing, University of Massachusetts Amherst

Richard Sonnenmoser teaches courses in writing fiction, as well as composition and literature. Among his interests are writing pedagogy, 20th-century American literature, Vladimir Nabokov, Philip Roth and the novel. Recent short fiction has appeared in West Branch and Harvard Review. A recent article on teaching writing can be found in Assessing Writing. He's currently at work on a novel, Beauty of the Midnight Crush. He co-edits The Laurel Review.
