The Client Computing student employee "Scare Out the Vote" Halloween Costume Contest ended at 1 p.m. on November 1. Voting for the costume contest was open to all Northwest Missouri State University students, faculty and staff and was available for the first time on-line.
Over 100 votes alone were cast online for the Scariest, Funniest and Most Original in the costume contest.
Each winning student employee was awarded a ghoulishly good gift basket filled with candy and various prizes.
Prizes included a coupon for either Sweets n' Treats or Java Café donated by Jessica Whaley and Campus Dining, a free buffet with small drink at Kentucky Fried Chicken donated by owner Peggy Rasmussen, a $5.00 gift certificate to Taco John’s donated by Manager Dave Williams, and a boarding pass for one free movie to The Hangar Cinema donated by President and General Manager, Richard Groves.
The contest, which is designed to boost student employee morale and increase job satisfaction as part of Information Systems continuous quality improvement efforts, was open to all Client Computing Computer Lab Consultants and PERTS.
The winners in the costume Contest were: Scariest costume - Allen Lon, Funniest costume - Joe Lohman, Most Original costume: (3-way tie!) - Cory Collins, Michael Mandrick and Angelita Escher.
