Faculty and staff have 300 megabytes of network storage on Catbert. To access your storage folder, you must be logged onto the network with your Northwest Account username and password. You can not access your network storage folder from off campus.
Your network storage can easily be accessed if you are using a university-provided desktop, tablet or notebook computer with Windows 7 or XP Professional. MAC instructions are available in the MAC Center of Online Support.
Network storage (Catbert) is backed up every Friday after 5 p.m. If you have deleted a file from your storage folder that you need recovered, contact the Client Computing-Information Technology to investigate possible recovery options.
Recovery is only available for network storage folders and only if the file or files in question were in tact prior to the backup on Friday.
Note: Students DO NOT have Catbert storage. Students have personal file storage in their SkyDrive, which can be accessed through their Outlook Live email account.
