Quercus phellos

Native. Leaves simple, alternate, lance-shaped, 2 to 5.5 inches long, .33 to I inch wide, Light to bright green in summer, yellow to yellow-brown in fall. Young trees are pyramidal in shape; oval to rounded shape when ma¬ture. Acorns very small ,5 inches long and wide. Good for street, golf courses and parks.
