Northwest: Home to the

Europe. Needles are stiff, dark green, diamond shaped in cross section and usually pointing forward. Cones are 4-7 inches long. Tree grows to 125 feet, and branches tend to droop. Greatly overplanted. With old age might lose its form and its usefulness. Commonly used as a windbreak, shelter, or as a specimen tree.
