Parrotia Persica

Iran. Leaves alternate, simple, 3 to 5 inches long and 1 to 2.5 inches wide, rounded at the base and coarsely toothed past the middle. Tree grows 20 to 40 feet tall, and spreads nearly as wide. Yellow to scarlet fall color. Relatively stress-resistant and pest-free.
