Everyday we see accomplishments made possible through private gift dollars that underwrite scholarships, fund internships, support student activities and offset costs of educational programs, to name a few. To keep such things as low tuition and a quality learning environment for our students, private gift dollars become imperative in ensuring the future of your University. That's where the Northwest Annual Fund comes in.

Private gifts do make a difference. It's only natural that educated men and women should take the lead in support of higher education, starting with the institutions closest to them. And as Northwest grows year by year, so too does the value of your degree from Northwest or your association with this institution. Your donation today will help Northwest enhance its facilities and student opportunities, thereby making a degree from Northwest not only more affordable, but worth more in the job market.

If you would like to give an unrestricted gift - for use in everything from program support to internships - Northwest will see that your gift is used where the University's needs are the greatest. You may also choose another option in the Annual Fund, which is to designate your gift to a restricted area, for instance athletic scholarships or an existing scholarship fund.

Your annual gift, no matter what size, is greatly valued by the University. The combined gifts of all of our alumni, friends and corporate partners create a large fund that has a remarkable impact on Northwest. Depending on your level of support, when you make a tax-deductible gift to Northwest during its fiscal year of July 1 through June 30, you will fall into one of several membership levels.

Adopt-A-Bearcat Scholarship Program

To assist in meeting a critical need for current scholarship dollars, the University created this unique Annual Fund program. Recipients meeting Northwest's current policies for admission and financial assistance receive a one-time, $500 Adopt-A-Bearcat scholarship to help offset educational expenses. These scholarships are crucial in providing the additional funding needed for students who might otherwise not have been able to afford attending Northwest.

Northwest will match your gift (minimum $250) dollar-for-dollar and award scholarships in your honor or that of a loved one. Example: If you donate $500, Northwest matches it and awards two individual $500 scholarships.
