"In my daily business life, even 20 plus years after I graduated from Northwest, I realize the quality education I received. Being a first-generation college graduate, I feel very privileged to have had the opportunity to further my education beyond high school. I also feel an obligation to support the University so that others might have the same opportunities and quality of education that I received. With my involvement in the Arizona Chapter of the Northwest Alumni Association, I am able to fulfill a part of that obligation. In the process, I have made many friends and new Northwest memories. Meeting people at alumni functions is so easy because we all have that common bond of our life at Northwest. Coach Ryland Milner's comment of ?once a Bearcat, always a Bearcat? rings as true today as when he first said it."
