When the opportunity came about to return to my alma mater, I jumped at the chance. After I graduated from Northwest in 2000, I was a news producer at WOI-TV in Des Moines, Iowa, before taking an anchor/reporter position with KQ2 in St. Joseph. I joined the Northwest's University Advancement team in January 2006 as a development officer for the Melvin D. and Valorie G. Booth College of Business and Professional Studies and the Intercultural International Center, before moving into the director of Alumni and Donor Relations position in January 2013. Whether in development or alumni relations, it’s all about engaging alumni and friends with the university in the way they would like to reconnect to Northwest. As a fellow Bearcat, that’s a fun job to do!
In my spare time, I enjoy spending it with my husband, Cameron, our daughters, Stella and Maggie, and the rest of our family and friends. I love the outdoors so outside activities are my favorite!
