Combined Percentile Index

Figure your class rank percentile by dividing your class rank by your class size, then subtract that number from 100 percent. Using the Test Score Percentile Chart, find your ACT/SAT composite test score percentile. Add it to your class rank percentile to get your Combined Percentile Index.

Example

Class Rank = 6
Class Size = 30
(1 - (6/30) = .80 or 80 percentile)
Class Rank Percentile = 80 percentile
ACT Composite Score = 19
ACT Percentile = 43

Combined Percentile Index = 80 + 43 = 123

123 exceeds the minimum combined percentile index of 100, so you would be admissible to Northwest.

Test Score Percentile Chart

Northwest does not require the writing component of the ACT.
