Limited Visits
Limited visits are available in an attempt to accommodate the busy schedule of our prospective students. However, these tours are limited because classes are not in session and many of our students and faculty will be away from campus. In some cases, facilities are also closed for that period of time. You may not obtain a true picture of campus life as we know it during a limited visit. However, if this is still the best time for you to visit Northwest then please feel free to contact us, as tours depart at 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. Monday through Friday. Each tour will allow time for a question and answer session with an admission representative to discuss admission, scholarships, financial assistance and housing options.

Group Visits
If you have a group of 10 or more students, in 8th grade or older who are looking for a great educational opportunity, bring them to Northwest for a day! Upon arrival, your group will be greeted by student ambassadors who will showcase our beautiful campus to you. The tour will last approximately 1 1/2 hours. Following your tour, your group will meet with an admissions representative who will discuss the admissions process, financial assistance and scholarships. They are also available to answer any questions that you or your students may have.
Lunch
Students in your group have the option of bringing their own lunch to enjoy anywhere on campus, such as Colden Pond, The Centennial Gardens or The Bell Tower. If your group prefers, they can purchase lunch at the J. W. Jones Student Union where there’s a food court with many dining options.
Registration Information
The Office of Admissions welcomes group visits on Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays. We ask that you register at least two weeks before your visit to give us ample time to prepare for you. To schedule a group tour, please call 800.633.1175 or 660.562.1587.
We look forward to seeing your group here at Northwest Missouri State University!
Additional Information
There are a few things that we would like you to keep in mind when scheduling your group visit:
- Access may be limited during particular times of year due to our academic calendar.
- Plan enough time for traveling to campus; being punctual will ensure that your group fully enjoys the visit.
- If your group has members under the age of 18, please provide sufficient adult chaperones; our student tour guides cannot act as chaperones while providing a quality tour. We recommend one adult per 8-10 students.
